Cheap base layers

So I’m currently on a weight loss journey & not looking for investment pieces. I’m finding that I am cold a lot more often than I used to be & am looking for some cheap but effective base layers. I’m currently visiting friends & they have an older drafty house. I’ve got on a tank top, long sleeve shirt, knit cardigan, & hoodie up top. Bottoms are a pair of joggers with a sweatpants over them. We flew up with carry on only so I don’t want to go get anything while I’m here.

Knowing that I will be going to visit family in OH at Christmas, I’m thinking ahead. So any recommendations for women’s base layers that come in an XXL or 1X, best guess on size I will need based on a couple of size charts I’ve looked at, would be appreciated.
