Best Housing for Transfer Students?

I plan on transferring to SCAD in Savannah from community college for this upcoming winter quarter (Jan. 2026). I know this is very soon, and originally I was going to sublet a friend of mines room for the Winter / Spring quarters because she thought she was graduating at the end of the fall quarter, but she found out that she still needs to take like 4 classes before she graduates. Does anyone have any experience living in any of the on-campus housing as a transfer student? Or just in general? I plan on only being in on-campus housing through the Winter and Spring quarters of 2026, after that I'd be looking for a lease on an apartment. Thanks.
