Chapter 17 and chapter 22 of What Do You Wish For With Those Murky Eyes ruined the series
I really like What Do You Wish For With Those Murky Eyes (which I will refer to as Murky Eyes for short) I think it is really good, sure it had some flaws and things that didn't make much sense to me but overall I think its a really good manga but when I got to chapter 17 it all started to go down hill from there, like what do you mean the entire main cast except for Walm was offscreen killed all at once and what do you mean the epic fight between the hero's (forgot their names) and Walm was also offscreen and when the fight does actually happen for us to see its incredibly disappointing like dawg what and then when we get to chapter 22 the threat that was the four nation alliance get destroyed I know that Walm going crazy and killing a bunch of people at the camp kinda fucked then over but there's no way that would've completely killed it and all the build up that the story was making is just gone because of the "The Great Rampage" which it also kinda seemed out of character for the leaders of the alliance to even make the rampage happen, like what do you mean the story up until now was mostly for nothing cause the rampage you saying we read all of that just for character development (which I know is a huge part of stories but there is more to this story than just character development) and the world building part of the story is also just gone, what the hell, and I know that all the characters dying offscreen all at once is supposed to show that this is war and that anyone can die at any moment but cmon this is a fantasy story not real life and they died for Walms character development but he barely even had any he got over it so quickly and even from the moments onward where he gets sad he also gets over those moments quickly as well so really it doesn't matter how you think of it it wasn't done well. Now I'm fine with characters dying like I love jjk and berserk and there is a lot of big character deaths in those stories but the way the writer handled their deaths just wasn't good but also I guess apart of me did want them all to live so maybe I'm just mad about but who knows maybe I'm just an idiot that doesn't understand the story good enough but I don't know this is just my opinion.
