Setup not working. Need help.

Hello everyone I need help to set up my new Roomba Combo Essential Y011040.

I use the IRobot app for the setup. Everything works until I get to the "press clean button step". The Roomba starts blinking as it should, but when I press the Clean button nothing happens. No matter where on the button, how fast, how long or how hard it simply does not reply at all.

Anyone gone through the same issues and has some ideas?
