What should I buy instead of a Honda Pilot?

I’m a Honda guy, instilled by my parents as I have vivid memories of going to shop for an Accord as a 5 year old in the early 90s. The reliability and consistency has something I’ve valued in the 20+ years I’ve been driving.

Currently have a CRV hybrid but looking for a bigger car for the fam. I’d love to go to a Pilot, but the terrible MPG makes it a hard proposition for me.

Curious to read what other’s experiences have been going to a different manufacturer or even the Honda Odyssey minivan.
