**Meet Cold Streak**

Cold Streak is a superhero I've featured in several TTRPG campaigns. Unlike typical speedsters who leave sonic booms in their wake, she causes a dramatic temperature drop wherever she goes, a fascinating side effect of her mysterious powers. As an added twist, she can subtly influence probability, leaving her enemies hilariously or dangerously unlucky.

\## **Who She Is**

At her core, Gwyneth Gray is a compassionate and determined young woman shaped by loss and resilience. By day, she works as a courier for a local delivery company, using her speed to set company records while keeping her true abilities hidden. By night, she fights crime as Cold Streak, helping people across the city with her incredible velocity. Whether she's evacuating civilians from danger or delivering a package across town in seconds, Gwyneth approaches every task with the work ethic instilled by her farming family.

\## The Wyoming Incident

Everything changed on the night of August 23, 2014. A pulsing green light swept across Clearwater, Wyoming, and in that single night, the entire town vanished except for 31 children. Gwyneth felt an inexplicable urge to run and did, traveling over 200 miles in a panic before collapsing in South Dakota.

When she finally made her way back home, the horrifying truth hit: over 5,000 people had simply disappeared. Only 30 other children remained, and somehow, every single one of them had developed strange, unexplainable powers.

\## The Mystery

What makes Cold Streak's origin unique is that none of the 31 survivors fit conventional superhero origin stories. They have no metagenic genes, no strange energy signatures, no radiation scars, nothing that should grant them powers. Yet their abilities are undeniably real, and no one has ever figured out how or why.

Years later, Gwyneth continues her investigation into what really happened that night, all while juggling her courier job and her secret life as a hero. The Wyoming Incident remains unsolved, and the truth may be stranger than anyone imagines.

I've got a few diffrent designs for her suit and I'm working on that. What do you think?
