Im a bit stuck here

Hey everyone,

I’m thinking about getting a new MacBook, but I’m a bit stuck. I’d really like a display with more than 60 Hz, but my budget is pretty tight. A MacBook Pro would be ideal, but it’s honestly too expensive for me right now.

My main use cases would be everyday internet browsing, some moderate video and photo editing, and a bit of simple coding for school.

I’d also appreciate general advice on which Apple chips (M1, M2, M3, etc.) are best for my needs and any best practices when buying a MacBook today.

Is there any MacBook model with a 120 Hz (ProMotion) display that doesn’t jump straight into the highest price range? Or is it smarter to go for a MacBook Air and just accept the 60 Hz?
