questions on fury's transformation (grandiaper spoilers)

I watched the episode yesterday and it somehow made me confused in the part of Zoe's transformation.

We knew about Adrien changing into Catwalker and Alya changing to Rena Furtive which were both intentional costume changes. However, when Zoe changed to Fury, she did not intend to do it and she was even confused right after she detransformed. When she asked Pollen about it, Pollen just says "Because you had a bad day and your emotions could affect your transformation".

This made me confused in this bit of the show since a lot of times we saw Adrien being depressed or Marinette being so stressed and restless (even angry) right before transforming and their costumes did not change because of these emotions. Is this a plothole of the show or am I just missing something?
