Looking for monthly spread ideas

I started a new job at the beginning of this month, and my usual monthly planning is not cutting it anymore. I would normally just make a list (1-31) and then write appointments I had on each line, occasionally using 2 if needed. At the bottom I'd write all future appointments I had for other months.

I don't really want to spread it over 2 pages if I can help it, because I feel like I just need like 1 and a quarter page, but I'm not sure how to do that while keeping it legible.
