How common are job offers for a Mail Sorter via Angard after the Xmas (seasonal) period?
So I started as a seasonal mail sorter last week and I’m enjoying the job. It’s my first job and my experience has been great so far in my opinion (although I’ve not been paid yet so I guess I’ll see).
I would like for them to actually like me and keep on through Angard at my local Mail centre. I’m actively looking for other jobs but this is my first job and only job I’ve managed to get in nearly 3.5 years (I’m nearly 21), so I can’t just “go elsewhere”.
I’ve not applied via Angard just yet (is it worth just putting in an application before my contract ends?) but I did just want to hear of anyone willing to share how long after applying it took for them to be given a job offer by them after/before the Xmas period.
Just throwing it out there but how likely would it be to have more than one 12 week contracts throughout the year? I can’t seem to find an answer here as to how long the “wait list” for a job offer is so I wanted to make a post to ask.
Thanks!
