Any Parkinson’s specialists in the room?

I’ve got a close family member who is headed in for deep brain stimulation surgery this week. He’s had a Parkinson’s dx for 5ish years. I’ve been all peds all the time but I want to help encourage him as possible. Historically my family takes any HEP suggestions I give with a grain of salt (or if you’re my mom, a link to a YouTube video with a miracle cure) but I’m hopeful after a major surgery he will want to do something proactive? If you’ve had experience with patients post this sx do you have a Top 3 best Ther ex! Or avoid this movement at all costs! I’m hoping if I can get him to focus on a few tasks that feel successful he will be open to further therapy. Thanks!
