Do you like telescopes?

Hi all! Elderly millennial here, she/they, neuro🌶️, spoonie, wfh dork living in NW District. Looking for new pal(s) who live ideally in NW (SW works too) in one of those fancy highrises with a rooftop and are into the idea of hanging out on a clear night looking through a telescope 🪐🔭🌖

Could be fun to go to the overlook at Pittock Mansion one night too!

Of course, we might not have any clear nights for a while, but that just means we have time to chat, meet, and see if we vibe before you tell a stranger where you live and I go hang out on a stranger's roof.

My telescope should get here this week and I'm very excited to try it out. I'm going to look from my balcony too, but I've got tree branches obstructing the view and think it would be sick as hell to get up to a higher vantage point and look around. We've got light pollution so I don't think we'll be spotting nebulas or anything, but the moon of course will be cool to look at and some planets should be visible when conditions are right.
