I’m so tired of Reddit’s moderators

Ever interaction I’ve had with a Reddit mod involves me asking how I broke the rules badly enough to be banned and asking how they would have worded the comment to be in-line with the rules.

EVERY single time I get a response, it’s from some anonymous mod that decides acting like the world’s smuggest dickhead is the right way to word their response.

I’ve also seen plenty of examples of mods defending this type of behavior and literally saying stuff like “there’s no rule saying we have to moderate in a reasonable manner” and “you shouldn’t have reached out unprompted to the mod team about your ban”.

If you can’t act in a reasonable manner and get mad when people ask questions about your “job”, then don’t decide to become a moderator! It’s not hard!

Does anyone else have experience with this here? I really don’t understand it.
