Tell Me Your Hades 2 Horror Stories!

Just had a 62 fear surface run that was looking like my first ever 62 fear win. Persephone skulls with Possessed Array.

I'm at the shop heading into Promethus with 5 DDs! I have Hera, Apollo, Hestia, and Aphro in my pool. The shop has a mystery boon that I have just enough cash to buy.

I go through the Codex. I have the prerequisites for Hera's Legendary. Apollo still has plenty he can give me that will help. Hestia has one or two boons left that won't hurt me. Aphro has nothing left to give me.

I debate. I don't want to be forced to swap Hera's attack going into the Prometheus VoR fight, but it wouldn't be devastating. Swapping Apollo's dash feels like a wash. I have a 75% chance to get one of the other three God's anyway... I really want that Hera legendary...

I buy the mystery boon, naturally get Aphro, and my only option is to swap my mana regen, bricking my build. The only possible truly bad thing that could have happened. Certainly less than a 10% chance.

Lost all my DDs before Typhon and lost the run. All I know is pain.
