Beginning Collector - Please Help!

Hi All,

I just started collecting sports cards and came across this forum! I wanted to ask what advice or videos I can watch to learn the fundamentals / basics. I know about rookie cards, autos, PSAs, etc, some of the basics, but I know the sports card world is very nuanced and I don't want to invest before advancing my understanding appropriately.

I came across the below video on YouTube and it was helpful:

Rare Sports Card Collector Reveals Everything You NEED to Know

Is there anything someone can either encapsulate for me or suggest to broaden my understanding before I start pouring money into cards!?!?

Thanks yall
