Can't seem to get Metroid Prime (1+2) GCN playing like OG version

Windows 11. I have xbox controller and the NYXI Gamecube controller (Wired, so Analog L+R both registers).

Using prime hack, and metroid controller. I'm really having a hard time getting the right trigger functioning like the original methods.

In the OG layout, you can slightly press R trigger + left stick, and that'll let you aim. But I can't seem to find a way for the free aim to be R+left, I can make it left stick only, which screw up walking, or I can make it Left stick + right trigger, which is also screwy / doesn't return to normal.

The reason I want it to be like the original game cube version, is because I use to speed run the games, and alot of the tricks doesn't work on trilogy...

Any help? I'm legit down paypaling you some money if you can help me get this work.
