If disappointed with color eink eNote battery life... switch to black and white?

I am Nova Air C user for notes mainly. If I switch to Nova Air 2 and use it in exactly same way, will I see really significant improvement in battery life.

Modern day comparison would be Go7 vs Go 7ii color for note taking (then again the Go 7 is nit Wacom EMR so not sure if that is the battery drain.
