She didn’t date me. she used me to feel alive again.

FA Breakup

Ever date someone who swears they’re “healing,” but all they’re really doing is collecting people like powerbanks to charge their emotions?

Yeah. That was my last “relationship.”

This girl wasn’t looking for love. She was looking for: a free therapist a free ego boost a free emotional babysitter a free replacement for the attention she lost a warm body to hold when she was lonely

She wrapped it all in pretty words like:

“I need to put myself first.” “I’m overwhelmed.” “I’m focusing on me.”

Bro, you’re not “focusing on yourself.” You’re focusing on your comfort at everyone else’s expense.

She’d flirt with other dudes, panic when things got real, block me like she was speedrunning the world-record for emotional immaturity… then act like SHE was the victim of her own decisions.

It’s crazy how some people think “self-care” means: • ghosting • lying • blaming • running • collapsing • projecting • avoiding accountability

Call it what it is:

Emotional laziness.

Some people treat relationships like a temporary Airbnb for their loneliness. They check in when they’re empty and check out the moment responsibility knocks.

And the funniest part? The SECOND you stop letting them use you, they suddenly “need space” and “want to focus on healing.”

No sweetheart, you just can’t handle being around someone who sees through your bullshit.

I didn’t lose anything. I just stopped letting someone with the emotional maturity of a fire alarm dictate how I feel.

Let the next guy deal with her “I’m so overwhelmed” storyline. I’m good.
