Toronto Barbershop Hot Shave

Hi everyone,

I have seen lots of barber posts here already but my problem is a little different. My regular barber from the past almost 10 years is not working at his usual place and I think he may have retired or something. I really should have gotten Valentino's number but.

In the event I can't reconnect... would there some folks here, or anyone who might have decent recommendations on where to go for a proper old school hot towel shave? Downtown core preferably.

I have had a lot of shaves by a good many barbers over the years and it seems to be fading art. I would be eternally grateful to hear anyone else's experiences with straight razor shaves here in the city.

I tried posting to r/Wetshaving as well but it was deemed inappropriate by the mods so I was hoping some of yall here might be able to add personal insight?
