How does one handle mild manic episodes?

Need Support

Hi! I'm 18F. I don't have any insurance, so I can't get a diagnosis, but in the past 2 years I've noticed I show signs being bipolar disorder. It's odd, because I have 3 states of mind:

-normal: I don't feel like doing much, but can function somewhat okay. Can feel sad and happy without seeming too off. Lowish sex drive when not ovulating.

-depressed: My most common "different" state of mind. It can be as light as having low self-esteem and feeling low-energy, and as bad as having very dark thoughts and being very emotional.

-mania: happens only a few times a year. I kinda like it, because life feels colorful again. I have energy to do chores and boring activities, I feel confident even if I think I'm ugly, and I believe in myself. Music sounds better, I feel friendlier, and I have the urge to live life to the fullest. I have a mildly higher sex drive. I can sleep, and I even feel tired, but I have a sort of mental energy. I feel more...whole and human. But mania is like that friend who's nice and happy, but gives off weird vibes..

Its nothing too concerning, but when I'm seemingly manic, I feel wary. Like, what if it gets out of control? My "mania" also feels like its mocking me. Like, this is how I could be if I wasn't so boring and mopey all the time.

I was feeling mildly depressed last week, but after playing Minecraft with a crush on Friday evening I've been feeling somewhat "manic" lately. Its fun, but I'm just wondering if this is normal. It doesn't feel like a simple good mood. What do I do?
