Is there anyway I can tame the eczema without prescriptions?

I have been dealing with what I think is atopic but that’s me diagnosing myself. I have dealt with eczema off and on for about 25 years but I don’t feel like it’s ever been this bad.

I currently have it in places I’ve never had it before and I’m at my wits end. I don’t love using steroids which I’ve been using every 3-4 days (triamcinolone) for about a month or so now and it only keeps the itching/burning at bay for that amount of time until I use the ointment again.

My eyelids have been the worst, my scalp, my hands and forearms are now coming in second all together. My shins are what got me the rx but here I am now using it all over my body. I was prescribed tacrolimus but after reading through this sub I decided against using it because my eyes already sting and burn as it is.

Is there any tips or tricks I could try? I’m planning on also seeing an allergist after reading through some posts here but I’m desperate and on somewhat of a tight budget.

Thanks in advance!
