Train Dreams is the perfect example why I love the art of making movies.

I just finished watching and I’m in such awe with it I had to share my impressions of it with someone.

I found this movie to be nearly perfect in all areas. Every shot is beautifully crafted, the acting is outstanding, the score is superb and the story, as gut-wrenching as it is, just carries such a beautiful message, with some many layers to look upon.

In a world filled with AI slop and commercial projects, it reminded me why I got into this industry in the first place…how crafting powerful, beautiful and touching art can make a difference and an impact in someone’s life, even if it is for only two hours.

I wish I could be more philosophical, eloquent and profound but I’ so touched by this movie I’m overwhelmed with emotions.
