Are AdSense Gurus Misleading Aspiring Creators?

I've been in the content creation game for over a decade now, and I’ve seen plenty of trends come and go. Recently, I've noticed a rise in the number of online gurus promoting AdSense monetization on YouTube as the go-to strategy for aspiring creators. It's hard not to be skeptical when it seems like these folks are profiting more from selling their courses than from the platforms they're teaching about.

What strikes me is how many aspiring creators are drawn to the idea of easy money through automation. These gurus build their audience by addressing common pain points, only to lead them down a path of buying digital products or memberships that seldom deliver the promised results. If you're truly passionate about creating, why would you rely solely on AdSense and the strategies these marketers push?

I think it’s crucial to approach these so-called 'opportunities' with a critical eye. Yes, YouTube can be lucrative, but it’s not the only way to monetize your skills. And often, the landscape is changing faster than these strategies can adapt.

I’d love to hear from other creators. What’s your take on the AdSense monetization trend? Have you seen success with it, or do you think there are better avenues to explore?
