Do you think one day phone video games will be closer to console rather than just tower defence and puzzles?

I don’t play many games on my iPhone but I decided to dip into the AppStore to see what was happening.. and I feel like the choice of games in terms of most like what you’d find on a console is really weak.

Considering the amount of amazing 3D games we had on something like the GameCube back in 2001, and that the latest iPhone is more powerful in comparison, at this point. I was really disappointed that the Apple Store at least, felt so cheap and disorganised. Everything is just a money grab.
