Considering 5090 laptop

Currently own a 4070 HP omen, but the lack of vram is pretty off putting to me. Considering upgrading to a 5090 model (specifically legion pro 7i) the 24gb vram is triple and seems pretty nice. Is it worth it, looking to game at ultra graphics for the 3-4 years at least?
