Coworker is making me uncomfortable

So I’m trying to be as vague as possible but I’m really really uncomfortable at work. I’m going to change some details so it can’t be traced back to me. I [24M] work in a shop. Now there’s a new lady who’s joined, let’s call her “Taylor” whose [40F]. She’s middle aged. Now Taylor and myself work in different departments. So we don’t interact much. But she makes me extremely uncomfortable when we do. And it isn’t just me but also other staff.

So I don’t know how to describe this but it’s like, she will randomly start talking as if she’s mid conversation, giving no context to what she’s saying? I don’t know if I’ve articulated myself well but she just says random things that have no context. For example,

Me: “so how is your day been” Her: “he said I have a gap in my teeth” Me: “who did sorry?” Her: “but you can’t insult his daughter cause that’s the pride of her life” Me: “erm…who are we talking about sorry” Her: “but his daughter has a massive bum. It’s this big”. Me: “??? oh okay”.

And then a customer comes in. Literally like that, she will say things with zero context that make no sense. So it’s super weird. She will randomly say things that have no context and she just talks. It’s really weird. It’s almost as if she’s had a conversation in her mind and she’s just speaking it out loud, giving the person no context.

So another example was, we were about to leave work. We are all grabbing our bags and coats and two colleagues told me to send their regards to a former colleague that used to work with us. This is because I’m still in contact with them.

So this is how the conversation went:

Colleagues: “tell John we say Hi and that we miss them” Me: “dont worry we will” Taylor: “and you make sure you tell Buzzlight year that I will punch him in” Me: “what sorry…whose buzzlight year?” Taylor: “oh that’s my nickname for my stalker. Buzzlight year. And make sure you hit him hard for me” Me: “huh? Okay”

Literally like that. And the other two colleagues start laughing saying that she does it all the time and it’s better to smile and just nod. They said she’s weird and they don’t understand half the things she’s says but just she’s. Btw she’s isn’t trolling or just being silly. She genuinely looks dumbfounded when she says something and people enquire, and she acts as if they should know. It’s so so so so weird.

So that’s two example but this has happened 100 times. Lots of staff have told me that they think something is serious off with her cause she will randomly start talking about something as if she’s mid convo with zero zero context.

I then find out through one of our other colleagues that she was suspended from her previous job working with children but she didn’t say why?

I honestly think she has schizophrenia or something. I don’t really care but recently she’s started to talk about me to other colleagues. She was in staff room, and I currently have a cold. Mid shift, literally I got a tissue from the staff room while she was there on her phone and left. Literally 10secs. I walk in, grab a tissue and walk out. she’s on her break there on her phone. Anyways she tells the other staff that I’m “naughty” and the other staff explain that getting a tissue is normal, from the staff room. She said he didn’t even try to talk to me. Bear in mind, I’m on my shift. I said “hi” as I grabbed the tissues by the sink and left. Im also working lol. I have to get back to work. And ever since that, which is literally nothing she keeps pulling faces at me or makes comments whenever I’m in her vicinity. It’s like there’s voices in her head telling her things. I’m genuinely scared. Idk why she got fired from her last job as well. I think she’s dangerous
