Chowder from canned clams?

Looking for a recipe for the cans of baby clams and oysters I found on clearance. I'm thinking a chowder with some potatoes, corn and cream would be nice? but I have no experience making clam chowder or using canned clams or oysters. Since they are already fully cooked maybe I just make a corn chowder and stir them in at the end?
