QBO Rant

I love when I open QBO to do a quick credit card review and it turns into an hour-long mess because the bank feed is broken or just doesn’t exist. Yesterday I had a client whose Amex feed quietly stopped in July, so I spent the afternoon downloading three months of PDFs, reformatting dates and columns in Excel, and then uploading to QBO.

For anyone skilled in QBO: what do you do when a client’s credit card feed is broken or they only send statements? Are you hand-keying from PDFs, cleaning CSVs, or is there some magic I’m missing?
