Mazda CX-5, CX-50, or Subaru Forester Wilderness?

I am planning on buying an AWD SUV. I’ve narrowed it down to either a Mazda CX-5, CX-50, or Subaru Forester Wilderness.

I have to travel up two fairly steep hills on the way home (albeit both paved), and I am also looking for a bit more ground clearance.

The Subaru seems to have better bad weather performance, but the Mazda have more standard features. Also, the CX-5 vs CX-50 seems like they trade trunk and passenger space between the two models?

What are people’s thoughts on this?
