2014 Yamaha vxr

Looking at buying at 2014 Yamaha vxr. Has 160 hours on it and looks to be in pretty decent condition. It is 7,500 dollars in the far North Queensland area. Wondering if this is a good deal and how often these motors usually last for? Also wondering if this would be a good ski for the dam and also for reef missions.
