what i’ve learned knocking doors about solar in seattle…

Been grinding door-to-door solar sales around Seattle for the past few months, and I’ve noticed a pattern: most neighbors are curious but don’t know the basics of how solar actually works here.

For example, Seattle’s net metering lets you bank credits year-round, which means even in our cloudy winters, you can offset summer production against winter bills. A lot of folks don’t realize that.

I’m curious—has anyone here gone solar in Seattle? What was your experience with the process, incentives, or utility?

If anyone wants me to break down their bill and see if solar pencils out, happy to chat. No pressure—just sharing what I’ve learned from the field.
