Best Way To Clean Vintage Latch Hook

Hi folks! My FIL has the latch hooks my partner's mom made decades ago. She died quite some time ago, and now we've moved him from his house to an apartment closer to us he wants to display them. Any advice on the best way to clean these without damaging them messing up the colors? They would mostly have been made in the 80s
