Questions about covid

Does anyone else get paranoid around people with covid?

My job ( literally just a receptionist at a living facility) has people with covid come to the desk and ask to be tested. The flu almost had me in the hospital this year so I tell them straight up, a manager needs to help you, I cannot risk exposure. It also makes sense for someone to just deliver the test to the room and not have them walk around spreading germs🥴
