Does your school have its own young Sheldon?
When I was in 8th grade, I knew a boy named Lewis who was very smart. I thought he was just a regular kid until he told me he was only 10 years old.
I don’t know if other countries allow grade skipping, but he had skipped a few grades, as I was 14 at the time. Lewis was a good friend and always finished his work on time, but he was still very much a kid. He would ask me to reach for his lunch box in his locker, and his mom would leave him adorable notes sometimes in his lunch box. He also cried a lot. most of the times was for when he would get a question wrong. Which was rare for him but he cried saying he should have gotten it right.
I had computer science class with him, and we were supposed to learn modeling. Each of us had to design a tower using Tinkercad. I sat next to him and he would cry and pout whenever his tower didn’t look like the one in the instructions to make the Empire State Building. He really liked playing cards and often saw me as his big brother asking me to share lunch with him or even give him a massage. I kind of miss him he was a good friend but he ended up going to a different high school called Davies Tech.
Anyone else have a young Sheldon type student in there school?
