Has anyone found ways to make calling easier for aging parents who get confused with their phones?

My aunt (76) has started having trouble calling using her iPhone.

She opens the wrong apps, taps tiny icons, and sometimes gets frustrated or embarrassed when she can’t reach us.

I’m curious — has anyone experienced this or found methods that help seniors call family more easily?

Are there tools, settings, or simple habits that worked for your parents?
