December box didn't give me any add-ons

I received a request to make my selections for my December box before Thanksgiving. That usually transitions me to an add-on site. Not this time I had no options to do any add-ons. Which if I'm honest it's the main reason I continue with my ipsy box. I really prefer my Birchbox as a monthly. It's the add-ons that really make the ipsy box special so I'm not getting it is discouraging. I'm at the point I think I want to just cancel my ipsy box and just do marketplace selections. Has anyone gone this route? Is it relatively easy? What am I up against?

*At least part of my consideration is not getting a response when I ask questions back. The team almost never responds to me.
