My brother was a bit weird about my gender at thanksgiving
so my brother is in college and I’m in high school and we were at our dads house for thanksgiving(divorced parents and our moms homophobic and transphobic so I’m not out to her in any way) and I came out to my brother last…spring? summer? I can’t quite remembe, we’ve talked about it a bit since but not much. we were sharing a room because neither of us cares and hes not there most of the time and in the morning we were talking bit so he asked me, “are you still wanting to be a boy” nothing initially wrong with that but it just kind of felt weird? I dunno, after I confirmed I am still wanting to be a boy(more like just wishing I could have a body I’m comfortable in) he follows up with “how are you coping with that?” also nothing wrong with this question but it still rubbed me the wrong way, so I answered with ”the same way I’ve been coping all my life.” at which he kind of chuckles and moves onto another subject. I dunno those questions just felt weird, what would yall have done?
