Horror First time selling home
Me and my wife has decided to sell our house late October. We had many offers and we ended up with a buyer for let’s say 1.2mil.
Escrow opens: October 31 Escrow to close: November 21
After 14 days, contingencies were removed and the buyer had requested a BEO, buyer early occupancy, which is on Nov 15.
We agreed.
On November 19, my neighbor said that she has had foundation issues and told me. She did, but I was not wary of any foundations issue of my own.
Buyer then delays the process and requests for an extension, saying it’s for loan approval stuff.
On November 21, the buyer hires a foundation company and the quote comes out to 50k. On November 23, the buyer now send an addendum for the purchase price to be 1.1mil, (100k reduction)
Today I now have to make a huge decision, I’m not sure what to do.. can someone help me?
