will i end up working at starbucks? :(

do i pursue a BA in english or psychology??? i’m currently in my 2nd year university and am stuck between whether i want to pursue english or psychology. i know, what two horrible options, however, they are the only topics i have an interest in. many people suggest not going either route as they result in bad paying jobs. i am leaning a lot more towards a BA in english as i find myself really enjoying school and the work and am hoping this would lead to me enjoying my job. that being said, am i just leading myself to failure? will i get a job in the english field and regret my decision??? will i even actually get an english related job? do i pursue psychology instead or is that just gonna lead me down the wrong path as well. do i just sent my application to starbucks at this point tbh??????
