Worried about drying time

I have a quickshot and I set it out to dry on a towel in the open. Finally checked on it again after a day and noticed theres still water in it. I shook it and gently pushed a bit of towel in and now I did a complicated set up to get a fan to blow air at it. Im worried though that it had water in it that long, should I be worried?
