Sex workers and clients alike are damaged.
I had been stuck seeing countless escorts for almost two years when I realized how much I just didn't recognize myself anymore. I didn't know who I was or what I was going to become. I realized this starts affecting and shaping you once you're orbiting around that world and those types of people after a while without even being aware of it. Despite how as a society we try to normalize sex work and the women within that industry, the truth is most of them are broken people that have also adapted toxic habits along the way and hurt others just the same; the classic cycle of "hurt people hurt others". I've seen videos and posts on Reddit claiming that SWers are "just normal people like anybody else", —they are when it comes to basic fundamental rights— but in social dynamics and emotional health you realize after meeting several of them that they just aren't . There is always the same pattern of constant advantageous behaviour, the same empty— and in some cases— cold, evild gaze in their eyes, and some will cross boundaries to get what they want out of you with no restraints at all. I see it as clients and workers alike are damaged in their own ways and both showcase it just the same in many instances, the only difference is their own position of power, which either party has their own respective advantage point. It's just an incredibly dark and negative vibrational exchange that takes place between both parties. I've been there, some workers have taken advantage of me just as I'm sure some clients have taken advantage of them. The cycle of pain and victims becoming victimizers goes on.
