My child claims they saw the devil.

My child is two years old and we have never had anything like this happen to us. My wife and I laid her down in bed and about 20 minutes went by and our daughter began to cry so my wife went in and got her. About 10 minutes later we made her a bottle of milk and put her back in her bed. After about 5 minutes she began screaming like a stuck a pig and when her momma went in to see what had happened she said “The Devil” and when her momma went towards the closet she started freaking out even more. This would all be circumstantial in my mind but when I went to pray over the room my Holy Cross broke which is made out of steel. We are all shaken up and unsure about our next steps.
