My Experience With Dr. Relle/LACOMS - Truly the Best for Jaw Surgery
I wanted to share my double jaw surgery experience with Dr. Relle at LACOMS because I feel it’s worth sharing, especially for anyone who is in the stage of choosing a surgeon.
I lived in LA for years and am fortunate to know many top doctors and surgeons. When I found out I needed jaw surgery, I asked every doctor I trusted the same question: “Who is the best?” Every single one of them said Dr. Relle.
From my first consultation, my experience with him was more than I could have asked for. He worked closely with my orthodontist and my dentist, planning my case carefully and thoughtfully for over a year. He is patient, kind, and incredibly generous with his time. He educated me on every detail, every risk, and every step, so I always felt prepared and cared for.
I researched obsessively for over a year and followed countless jaw surgery journeys online, so I thought I knew what to expect. What I didn’t expect was how gentle Dr. Relle is as a surgeon. I woke up from surgery looking better than I did going in. My face looked balanced, I had no major swelling, no nosebleeds, and I felt good. I stayed overnight and the nurses were amazing. They made me feel extremely supported, comfortable, and cared for the entire time.
I’m now one month out of surgery, and my recovery has been a walk in the park compared to what I’ve seen so many others go through. I loved the aesthetic results immediately. My bite is perfect, I can breathe better than I ever have, and I’m already so happy I made this decision. I’m still swollen and healing, but I can already tell I’m going to love my final results. I can see the foundation of a beautiful smile and overall facial balance taking shape.
My orthodontist told me Dr. Relle is the best in the country, and after going through this experience, I understand why. He is not only skilled, he’s extraordinary.
I also noticed there’s one person online who repeatedly posts the same negative review about him. That worried me at first, but after being his patient, I honestly cannot imagine they are talking about the same surgeon. My experience was the complete opposite in every way.
I’m sharing this because I know how overwhelming jaw surgery research can be, and I hope this helps someone make a confident and informed decision. Choosing Dr. Relle was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
