Cancer Diagnosis

My husband has been waiting for his I-602 approval and it finally got approved after 3 years! But back in September he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Will this affect him at his interview!! Can he possibly be denied for it? It is now all under control, and he has a iob waiting for him along with health insurance!??
