Intense ear pressure days after septum piercing

I got my septum done with a horseshoe 5 days ago and everything was fine except for some soreness and a runny nose for the first few days. But over the last 2 days I’ve been getting increasing pressure in both ears to the point where I can barely hear over the ringing/humming. All the research I’ve tried to do is talking about how it could be caused by sinus pressure/inflammation. Has anyone else ever experienced this or know anything I could do to help? I’ve been taking ibuprofen to try to help with inflammation like my piercer said but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. Also been cleaning it with saline on a q-tip and doing soaks with it twice a day as instructed. It doesn’t feel inflamed at the piercing and looks clean so I don’t think it’s infected
