Is saying this enough that she won’t be attached to me?

so for context I met this girl at a 2 day retreat back in September and it was also one week after I was rejected by this other girl. i told myself I wasn’t gonna ask for anyone’s number but she ended up asking for mine. I accepted cuz it was the first time a girl has ever asked for my number but I told her it probably wouldn’t work cuz we live 3 hours away and neither of us can drive. so it was the second day and we were basically acting like bf and gf even though it shouldn’t have been taken that far tbh.

we leave and weeks go on and we’re messaging and the whole time I’m thinking about other girls at my school. From the start i dont think I had enough time to really like her and I can’t do long distance. I told her I I didnt want to be in a relationship with her but I still went to her hoco because I already promised to. Then at hoco she leaned on me and told me she still liked me. I sent her this and she replied that she understood but maybe I left it to open that she might be still hooked on me and I don’t want to break her heart or have her not be in a relationship because she’s thinking about me.

“Soo I was thinking. if I’m gonna be honest idk how we can be friends. Because you know how I told you it takes me a while to like someone, well, I feel like that’s happening with you. But I still think getting into a long distance relationship would be bad for me. I feel like we should both do our own thing until we can drive or something. Because for long distance to actually work there has to be a plan for the 2 people to eventually be together and right now we can’t really make that decision because we’re still young. And if the only way we can be together is phone calls I don’t think I could handle not being with you physically. Because there is just a different level of knowing someone when you are in close proximity you just can’t get from calls and texts. I don’t think we should talk for a while, at least until we would actually have means to move this forward. And if you meet someone during that time and you like them that’s fine and I’ll respect that. And maybe that’ll happen to me but idk. I’m just saying it’s probably best if we don’t talk rn because maybe in the future things could actually work out but if we are just talking and we both have feelings but we can’t really be together then that’s not fair for either of us. Do you understand what I’m saying?“

was that enough or should I really hammer down that things won’t work? i sent this message back in October but I still think about if maybe that wasn’t enough.
