Men, would you stay with a woman even if you were no longer interested in them?

Men’s Input Only

I noticed changes in the behavior (not wanting to see me much anymore, dry texts, less communication, less affectionate, not wanting to have sex) of the man I was seeing. I addressed it a couple months ago and nothing changed. When I addressed it again this past Wednesday, I asked if he was ok. I told him I missed him and asked if I was doing anything wrong and if I could fix anything.

His response: I miss you babe, nothing is wrong. You’re not doing anything wrong. Life has just been hectic, that’s all. I’m overwhelmed with everything and I’ve just been really exhausted so I’m sorry if I don’t seem like myself.

When I tried to discuss it with him over the phone, he did not care to listen, hung up on me a couple times to answer other phone calls, and never called me back. When I tried calling him back, he wouldn’t answer.

He would say “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t want to be”. But he wasn’t putting in any effort to see me. I was making the plans to do things.

I ended things because I felt like he was no longer interested. He got upset, said some really mean things and blocked me every which way.

Why would he stick around if he didn’t really feel the relationship. I asked him if he wanted out and that there would be no hard feelings, if he did. He said no, that he was all in. His words did not match his actions.
