Really wholesome experience

I received an offer for DG I didn’t look close enough just saw $11 for DG so I accepted it. Then I realized I was driving two towns away. I messaged the client and apologized and made them aware I would have to decline to order. However, I decided screw it. I took the order. Did the shopping it was all Stuff to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. Took forever to find everything because the store was dismantled. I pulled up to an apartment building and this little old lady and man were waiting outside. They were so grateful I accepted the order and explained that they’ve tried several times and no one accepted their order for all their attempts that week. Neither can drive they didn’t have much money and their neighbor had given them a turkey and all they wanted was a Thanksgiving diner together. Anyway, I drove away crying my eyes out. Sometimes we really get the opportunity to bring some joy to someone’s doorstep.
