Got a warning today for speaking insensitively.

Today we were picking and staging. One very small aisle had it seemed like 10 people sent to it to pick totes and boxes. Whenever someone new showed up with a cart everyone would give them dirty looks because there was hardly enough room to a person by themselves to even turn around. I sarcasticly said "It's like Ganglands back here."I meant like the TV show where people are ready to throw hands over protecting terf. I didn't realize that saying this was rude to some but I really need to think before saying stupid things that could possibly be misunderstood. It's stupid to talk too much especially when you don't know the people around you but it's a lesson I'm constantly messing up on.
