I did it

My narcissistic alcoholic has been getting worse and worse in the last few months. We have 2 children 5 and 11. He was drinking all day every day. Child services became involved. We have a meeting tomorrow about conditions he will have as they are involved for him. Then he went out drinking again last night. Got a DUI. I specifically told his sister not to bring him back here once he was released. She brought him this morning. I tried to shut the door and he forced his way in, hurting my arm in the process. So I called the police and had him arrested for DV. 2 arrests in 12 hours. My 5 yr old is so sad and of course came down with the stomachs flu today. Poor little guy can’t keep anything down and misses his daddy. I’m trying to stay strong. Narc isn’t allowed to contact me unless it’s about the children and he can’t come here. I need encouragement that I am doing the right thing. This has been years in the making.
